Thanks Monica, could not believe the size of the box for the Maz, filled to the top with lots of plastic:D
 
Got one at last!!!


I had such great fun building the Academy 1/200 New Bedford Whaler on here, I just had to get me one of these larger 1/110 scale whalers. She's about 16" long and has loads of detail.


These kits don't come around very often, so I have been very lucky. It had excellent reviews when first issued, so I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in......

Great looking kit Ron, don't envy you with all that rigging though.....

I have watched Phil Flory build it on his Flory Models site from opening the box to final weathering, he loved the kit.

1/12 tamiya Ferrari 641/2 got this just before xmas from ebay - wanted one for a very long time , other bits picked up in the last few weeks were normal re-supply stuff and some detail/aftermarket stuff from John SMS (cheers mate) , Hiroboy and Hobby Link Japan .

Postie dropped this off this morning in prep for my next model (hasegawas 1/48 typhoon mkIb bubbletop)


I know PE isn't everyone's cup of tea and its fiddly and time consuming by Eduards Big Ed sets are lovely.
