And these too, more turnbuckles needed for the bi-planes and the saw brush might be a good tool for streaking effects...

Good one James, you’ll love the flexibility of the camera, and Canons are great to use. I’ve had four over the years :thumb2:
Nice haul there Fernando. I’ve done another iteration of the dragon 250, nice kit.
Cheers
Tim

Airfix did 6 models in total, the 3 above, and, Woodpecker, Robin & Little Owl. They were also boxed by Gunze Sangyo. They still pop up on Ebay & auction sites - never made any - not really my interest

I wanted the zoom lens for things like airshows or if we nip down to local airport i was between the tamron and canon original but the macro om the tamron lens sold it for me

Although being absent for a while and lacking bench time has not stopped me from adding to the stash.........:smiling::smiling::smiling::smiling4::smiling4::smiling4:

Has any one here come across this paint yet. Its new to the UK , and only two out lets. I got this from MJR Models & Hobbies. of Bolton. Its a product from Slovakia, www.mrpaint.sk Its an acrilic lacquer paint for airbrushing.
Its for spraying only and from the conversation with Mike Jolly the proprietor the paint gives excellent results. Mike has a very complex stock of this brand of paint, he does purchases over the phone and on line.
I bought the paint to try on the Pioneer to build in German hands.
Will let you know how it performs when I do the build.

Cheers Mike

Hi Mike
I’ll be interested in the paint....acrylic lacquer sounds similar to Tamiya spray cans? Plenty else there to keep you busy as well...

I doubt my sanity at times - complaining about small bits! The hull is just over 70mm, and PE for the grilles

Mouldings have a bit of flash, but not too bad. I counted around 120 parts
The model has a FULL interior engine, radiator etc etc, and all the hatches can be left open.
The IBG model is boxed in several versions, one with metal barrel, and two resin figures & full link & length tracks, another with all plastic & quick build tracks, small pots of Hataka Polish Army paint, brush and glue. The version I got was all plastic & quick build tracks - no paint, brush or glue! Looking at the quick build tracks - I think I made the right choice.

I have made models of the TKS before ( Mirage, I think ), but nothing as sophisticated as this

Hi these came today flat bladed crocodile clips, nice and small for tight places.

Pete.

Hi Pete
Those look very useful. I have some but they have teeth and so for holding delicate parts I have to pad out the jaws. Could you please let me know where you got them.
Thanks
Jim
