Just got hold of this for a laugh:eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

I wonder what the difference is between mine and this one:

VINTAGE 1960'S MONOGRAM ROMMELS ROD SEALED IN CELLO | eBay

..... apart from the £90! :lol

Gern
Actually it was £100 and it didn't sell. Wonder why?

1:48 revell eurofighter typhoon at a car boot sale this morning, box battered to death but contents still sealed with no apparent breakages plus a few tubes of contacta poly which had been thrown in the box. asking price was three quid, i handed him a twenty pound note and he had no change so he accepted £1.97 as that was all i had in change.....result

so top tip for booties, always have a crisp £20 note in your pocket and a couple of quid in change.

Just got a parcel from John.

Oh dear, more impulse buying. Steve Stona's post about the quality of Tamiya's 1/72 FW190 got me interested, so I popped into Modelzone while I was in town. Among many bargains they had just one Tamiya 1/72 Bf109e for £6.50! They're £12 plus postage elsewhere; I couldn't stop myself. I also got an Academy 1/72 P38J ETO for £7.99.

I'm running out of drawer space.

Tony.

PS Congratulations on your latest acquisition Rich. Beware though: If you thought the fumes from putty and thinners were toxic, wait till you open a nappy.

Good grief! I bet they put their fingers in their ears when that was fired.

It looks to be a huge project and one I'll be following with interest.

Cheers
