Going to try to pull this off a PST Ford G8TA using a Heller/Airfix Opel Blitz chassis and running gear for a captured German truck. I’m using the single axle frame the for another build so I was left with the cab and complements.

Frame is ready to be lengthened. I’ll straighten up the pintle hook later. 72D56EA7-1784-4E96-A977-ACA13E91D8C3.jpegD650D0C6-A46C-4F95-9AFC-E9E901D00F43.jpeg06942683-F6DA-475C-AF81-59C290F55E24.jpegA288DB55-F4C4-4B97-8388-A9867871E521.jpeg39EA94C5-2123-4643-A19E-641BE57AC798.jpeg

Hi Lee
An interesting build. I hope you don't run into too many fit issues putting the two kits together. So far it looks spot on.

Nice kit amalgamation here Lee. It will give you a unique vehicle. Top job :thumb2:

You have made a lot of progress since I last looked in.....keep it coming. Rick H.
Thanks Rick. The frame is cut into and I repositioned the front and rear wheels letting them set up good before moving on.

Here’s a small update. I was too tired to go any farther with this tonight. 5E22CD04-B7C0-4F59-921F-89E1D9A00608.jpeg4298ECFC-EA91-47A8-BE46-66D7B40673F6.jpeg

Looks like you got your own "Mini" chop shop going there Lee.......I think you are enjoying this Frankenstein type of surgery :thumb2: Rick H.

Nice one Lee! Been following with interest as usual - 1/87 is definitely far too small a scale for me! Hats off to you!
