Lee Drennen’s Hobby Farm & Garden

Hi Lee
A lot has been made of the old tractors still working on the crofts on the Outer Hebrides. This book has some great photos. You can turn the pages by clicking and dragging on the bottom right corner.

Gerry. I’ll get you a pic when it’s starts growing here.

Jim. Thanks for the reference I see there’s a lot of Ferguson and Masseys over there nice

Cleaned out the Chicken Coop and spread the Manure on the garden. I’ll let this sit for a couple weeks before turning it over several times with some compost mixed in.

This Afternoon I move some baby chicks to the Little Barn and put a door on it. It hasn’t had a door for over 10 years. I’m feeling so good about getting my Hobby Farm back the way I used to have it.

Thanks to all of you who comment and give likes. More updates next week.

Take it that the door is high enough to keep 'critters' out ;) or have you got mesh at the top?

This evening after work I finally got rid of a menace that’s been shading my garden for over two years. I feel better about this year’s garden already 8186DE57-5B54-423F-8FAD-0AABB7C3810B.jpeg

Rick. Just do it. I was going to do this Saturday but I was re-winterizing.

Now it becomes really useful - nice little bit of firewood :thumb2:

You’re going to have to explain “re-winterising” to us old Anglos Lee?

Reckon spring is going to happen quickly this year.
I don’t know we’ve had a taste of it now for the next 10 days here looks like late/early spring. That will give me time to grow more transplants in the house

Lee. Front row seat please, in the shade for an old timer so I can enjoy the peaceful view.
