It's a combo of fine parts and heavy gates. You just need to be careful when you cut them off. I don't recall the plastic being to bad to work with.

I have never had any problems with the ICM kits iI've built.

Hi Chris the plastic is very brittle, but if you take care, they will build into lovely kits, go for it mate, they are worth it

I guess I could be the guinea pig for this one. These kits sell for under $10.00 sometimes on ebay. I guess for that cheap even if the quality sucks it might not bother me.
