I know it was a big issue losing so many of the old pictures, and VB was never going to finish the update, so I've uploaded them all to a new gallery, the link is in the navbar, they are in some sort of order, although I'm not sure what, but at least they are there is anyone want's to go through them.

It will take me ages to upload them, and I'm doing it from work, so will only upload when I'm here, keep checking over the next week

at the time of posting this I have uploaded 5890 pics, only another 329947 to go :p

Definatly appreciate it....herculean task by the sounds of it....look foward to seeing all my old stuff again

Thanks for your sterling work there John. Can someone please tell me how to view the images? I've looked at the first 300+ but can't get to the next pages.

Thanks John for the effort in uploading the images. Is there a search function to pin point the genre and specific image that I want to see?
I'd like to replace larger images to my old build blogs, is there a way to let me edit them?

Cheers,
Wabble

So is each folder say a forum months worth of pics?.

I don't think it's that straightforward, I don't know how they are sorted.

There are 385 directories, just click in one of them to show more pictures.

Unfortunately not, when they get uploaded they are renamed, the file name might be something like, 23453-effffarerfq4f5asaerttvvr.jpg, then 23454-542wer5a4featfwee.jpg, once you find one all the pictures from that post should be all together

Excellent work John, some cracking images in there, even found a couple of my builds in the mix..(so far...) ????

I have managed to find a way to find your pictures, thanks to ChatGPT, what a clever piece of software.

I have a spreadsheet with all the information in, you can download it from the attachment

When you open it you can filter by your name
Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot 2025-04-29 at 11.03.24.png Views:	0 Size:	239.6 KB ID:	1256456

You will see the thread titles, you can search the forum using that

Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot 2025-04-29 at 11.03.24.png Views:	0 Size:	239.6 KB ID:	1256456

You will also see the file names, in this case

133/133409-a6bc9c4d2c1434c4f316374ce2e4a144.jpg
133/133410-a6805695cf8e9ca1a47124553b02b9a5.jpg
133/133408-21a3fc9669c6ce86b45fe928ffc83964.jpg

The first number 133 is the directory, once in the directory you can search for the file starting 133409, 133410 & 133408

If anyone does want to update their thread let me know and I will change the editing time for everyone.

Files 82 to 88 are missing John from the Old Pictures page.

I am in holiday at the moment and all the files are on my computer at work, I'm not back for about 10ish.

I don't want to get peoples hope up but I might have found away of putting all the images back, but I need to setup a test server first before I start messing.

I don't know why I didn't think of it before, I've added a clickable link to the image in the spreadsheet, so you don't have to look for them, click on it and then right click on the image and download. I've updated the attachment in my original post

I know this is an old thread, but I've just had a play around with the spreadsheet Jon has created and It's brilliant, I can find all my old buildpics, which is handy as I lost all my original pics when I swapped over to a new laptop ...bleddy windows 11...lol.

thanks for the hard work Jon
