Just had a catch up Si , top work so far. This looks like a very thoughtfully engineered kit , ive never done any Meng stuff and ive seen some people knocking it but this seems to be going together really well

Assembly moves onto the turret, the first steps have you adding anti-radiation shielding which comes as a rubbery styrene a bit like Dragons DS material.








Then a small PE brackets and more ERA blocks go on…..







And more…..










I got a good way into it but there are still a lot of parts to go onto the turret. Fit of parts is good but a sharp eye is necessary to avoid sticking bits in the wrong spots.

Had enough for today, need to rest the peepers

I was able to get the last few parts onto the turret apart from a few small fiddly bits which I’ll attach once paining gets underway…..

Looks to have gone together very well. Fiddly but a well detailed result. Nice touch with a track jig. The pins were never going to stay in without any glue.
