Superb looking pit seb. I like to see a realistically moulded instrument panel too , takes a lot of careful painting to make it look good but its worth it , cheers tony

Thanks guys! This is so far a delighting build and as I will probably build jet exhausts next, just by looking at the instructions and pieces on a sprue, I know they're gonna look great!

yak face - I agree - if the cockpit is open (and it would be a shame to hide all these lovely details), you have to put some effort in.

Piakio - how could I forget - although a bit different than from the one I am building :) And I doubt a bit, these are guided by mind control :D

Looking good and I'll defo be watching this one

Wasn't this the one that could do Mach 3 and no missile of the time could catch it??

Robert

This is supposed to be an excellent kit - I've been watching a similar build over on Britmodeller.

The cockpit looks good, a great start

Cheers

I think you mean the MiG-25 Robert. That was basically 2 huge engines attached to an airframe! The Foxhound replaced it,and is a much better aircraft.

Thanks chaps!

Yeah, MiG-25 could do around M3.2 without external weapons. MiG-31 is a direct evolution from 25 - While not as fast (M2.8), it is still the fastest operational fighter in the world at the moment. BM version is an upgraded one and carrying a powerful radar, datalink and other goodies, which make this interceptor ideal for guarding an extensive Russian airspace.
