This is my entry for the GB. I've not built anything for ages, started one this year, and finished none. Life has been challenging and busy for multiple reasons. I'm hoping this build will get me back into it.

I've reviewed the instructions and noticed there is not proposed colour scheme other than the box art. I think this is the first time I've had a model where it doesn't recommend colours. I'm sure I'll cope.

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's builds and good luck everyone who is participating. Enjoy the GB.

Classic kit..... So old yet still incredibly enjoyable

As for colours....... As long as the base colour is dunklegelb and camo on top is rotbraun and/or olivgrun it's hard to go wrong...... There's a gazillion of pics out there showing all the improvised designs troops came up with

This might be useful

Nice - I do like a Panther and the turret looks great. I know what you mean by the colour call outs, I had the same issue with a Tamiya Tiger I built in the past - but you work through it easily enough. I bought a Hataka paint set in the end and that sorted it out.

Alot of progress today. Ive completed the majority of the build. The 3 main sections are not actually fixed together and there are a few extra bits to add later.

Next steps will be to prime these parts (rattle can) and then paint the main base colour (by brush)

Ill also be painting the wheels on the sprue. I'll then attach it all together and do the camouflage and detail some attachments.
