I've just read this thread from the start and was really looking forward to the end - then disaster.


Well, it was looking really good up to the end. It might have been your first plane in years, but you certainly haven't forgotten how to build. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks, I think I will as I love the film and still want to have one on display. Maybe sometime next year I will get on it. They are not expensive but I don't know how long they will make them. I'll put money in the tail turning up later

Cheers mate, I think the next anything is a tamiya 1/24 Renault 5 turbo. Something to display on a garage forecourt that s friend and I are making for show displays. :D

A Renault 5 turbo. Now there's a car I had forgotten all about. I'll look forward to that build.
