Just thought I would send the news that Italeri has announced that the long waited Vosper 77 is to be hitting the shops next month. AND a very quite release of a 1/48 scale Hawker Hunter has slipped under the radar as well. That one to should be in the shops in the next week or two.

Nice going Italeri. It must be Christmas. Oh hang on a moment it is, well almost.

It's allegedly F.6, FGA.6 (new one on me,) FGA.9, but the smart money is on it being a re-box of the Academy kit, with all of its known warts, so I'd curb your enthusiasm, or at least start talking nicely to John Adams of Aeroclub.

Was the Academy one that bad. I know about the cockpit being the wrong scale but a neogama set soon sorts that out.

I will be getting one anyway. I have built the Academy one and it looks fine to me. If the tail is a bit to big/small/steap/long, or the exhaust pipe is 0.1mm to big or small......so what, still a beaut of an aircraft.
