Nice photos Richard.I really liked the Martin Maryland.I had a good chat with the Czech lads whose stand it was on.The chap who built it didn't speak English .So his mate translated his weathering technique for me.Outstanding work I thought.

Cheers mate, one of my personal favourites was the ''tally ho at beacon hill'' one of the kids playing as pilots (3rd image) there is also a harrier made by a 5 yr old with some help from dad in the competition that i thought was a nice touch also, more images to follow!

did you get into the competion room,some outstanding work in there. loved the diorama that looked a river in vietnam with a cottage on the hill.also a guy from belgium (i think) that had a dio of a shipwreck(or at least the bow section) on a beach.

Does any one know, where I can get a `STARGATE` model from?

I`ve been after one for years but haven`t been able to get one any where.

I have only seen rather expensive models of some of the weapons. So there are some bits out there, its down to what you are after I s'pose

Woot, my bar armoured Scimitar is in there - sadly it came nowhere in the competition and it was only while carrying it back to the IPMS Farnborough stand, carrying it at an angle I don't usually see I realised that the barrel is not straight! When I put it back together after the accident, the barrel didn't go straight, but you can only really see it from one angle That would be plenty enough to knock it right out of contention.

I suffered the same problem, ended up scratch building the Prometheus (on here if you search) it's still a WIP due to all the fine detailing on the hull. shall have to update the thread at some time methinks.
