At last, KA114, a DH Mosquito FBVI in the colours of 487 (NZ) Squadron which famously took part in the Amiens raid, was flown again on Friday 28th, and displayed publicly yesterday. Pictures in the following news link, videos and other photos are all over the internet. Exciting news!

Not the best video in the world but about one minute into it there is some real sweet music. A V12 duet.

Amazing news. I wonder if there's any chance of a rich collector in the UK having one built ?

I think they have recently completed a Mossie restoration at Elvington Air museum near York. If you havent ever been to Elvington its well worth a day out.

Awesome is right. Check this thread out on another forum, pictures of other warbirds/vintage aircraft from that Mosquito open day including an Avro Anson etc. Wings Over New Zealand - Mosquito Show 29th Sep 2012 Photos

Also in that forum is a thread on the Mosquito's rebuild, including weapons (albeit fake cannons and machine guns).
