Splendid work, and what great wing roots you have. The scary bit for me is removing the canopy masks. Particularly for a closed canopy because that's when I find dust - inside the sealed canopy !

I had a bash at the Turret interior,all made up really and you won`t see much of it,(Looks awful in this pic,but it`s better than it looks!!)......,

..... Then i had a rudimentary bash at the aircrew,(Didn`t waste too much time on em,as you won`t see much......


.... and in the Plane..........


Pretty much done now.... some final pics tomorrow!!

I've now done 4 planes this year,each one a different make....a Hobby Boss,an ICM,a Tamiya,and this Airfix one.IMHO this one has been the best,(fit,detail and enjoyment wise),just shading it over the Tamiya

...... Was uploading a few pics on the "2022" thread, when I realised that I forgot to post this one "done".
Final bit of phaffing about,and,apart from a bit of a decal mishap, I'm happy with it.
A cracking kit all round in my humble opinion,and easily the most enjoyable/pleasing flying fing I've done so far.
So, without further ado,ere be pics...





If you're considering getting one of these then DO IT.... You won't regret it

Yep, didn't realise that they go out of stock.... must've just got lucky then, this one was an eBay win a few months back, for £17 plus p&p

I think this is a second run Andy. For a while after the first run sold out all you could get was the night fighter version. I suspect that Airfix reorder from the manufacturers as stock runs down, and then we have to wait for it to get to the front of the moulding line before it is available again.
