So I thought I would list what I intend to build next year, it will be good to look back at the end of the year and see how many I get round to, barring any Real life issues of course :)

As part of the SIG 1:24th build

P51 Mustang

Spitfire

Hurricane

V-22 Osprey, this is a full on build with, working props, interior lights and cockpit lit up, along with ground crew and vehicles.

Iron Man Igor, again another LED project

Iron Man Heart Breaker, maybe an LED version again.

Revell's 1:32 Phantom Final Test Flight

and finally

Taniya's 1:32 P51D Mustang

So that's 8 quite large projects in 12 months :)

Am I been too optimistic? Is anyone else planning to build similar numbers?

Adrian

well, i have so much planned i have had to make a spreadsheet so i know what im supposed to be doing and when lol

plan is to attempt 10 totally different things which i think is doable..........and theres a few others id like to throw into the mix if i can...........but the best laid plans of mice and all that  expect it all to go to pot :D

There are some interesting builds there!!

No, no! I think you will build all them :)

Errr...Now I was thinking about that Adrian.

I have only planed to build two kits next year (hope will be more...), but in mind I have only the Typhoon 1/24 and other plane at 1/32...

Oh,oh...maybe I'm ill :P

I have plans to build a lot more next year. Real life put a stop on things this year but now its my turn!!!

I have a few 1/35 MTB's that need building and one might end up in a diorama....

I also have a Diamond T tanktransporter that I would like to build...

And ha ha! I have a couple or six 1/32 scale aircraft I might have a go at. AND three of them are German!!! (Yes really!)

Apart from those I have a couple of GB's I would like to join in with!

We must see what the year brings and hope for the best.

I've started the Bismarck, but this will take me into 2015, the USS Indianapolis and Revell German S-Boat. At my current speed of building, this should last me until the end of 2015.

I am thinking of the diamond t as well Ian and a few other none tank builds

Once my Aircobra is finished it will be the Hawker Typhoon for the 1/24 SIG. My aim will be to finish that within 3-4 months as I intend to put my house on the market in the spring.

After that I cannot be too sure what I will build as if the house sells fast I may not have the facilities for a few months until my new-build is finished and then of course moving in and getting sorted....

But once I am ready.... all these brilliant 1/32 Tammys etc..... I will be spoilt for choice.

My plans are finish my Me262 a-1a/U2 and Bf110 G4

Build:

Ju-88 A17

Fw190 A8/R8

Hurricane Mk.I

Mosquito FB

Lancaster B.III

Wow some busy modellers here.I kind of take every day as it comes.I do intend to take part in some of the group builds though and I'm looking forward to those. :)

I'm a bit like John , i just see what happens next- although I do intend to join in as many of the GB's as is feasible (ive got several things lined up !)

I have 2.1/2 builds planned.

1) Finish HMS King George V

2) Dragons Scharnhorst 1/350

3) Finally get round to starting the scratch build of the S.Y. Scotia which will probably take me through to 2016/2017.

Cheers Derek

It would be absolutely pointless me trying to make a list of planned builds for 2015- it would have completely changed by tomorrow, let alone New Year. However in very general terms I'd like to build at least one armour piece and maybe a car. I rarely manage more than 6 or 7 completions a year, though I've achieved an impressive rate of acquisition...

These are on my workbench and they are hopelessly behind schedule;

Two Dakota's

Nimrod MR2 XV235

Nimrod MR2 in maintenance

Arnhem anti-tank diorama

Buccaneer S2

Half a dozen JB Models 1 tonne FW Land Rovers for wagon loads on my model railway

A couple of Cambrian kits wagons

DC Kits Class 303 EMU

DPM kits Motorbike repair garage

Footbridge for my model railway

Point rodding and signal wires for my model railway

And stuff I'd like to do;

Soviet SIG build - Eduard Mig 21

Four engined bomber

Hasegawa 1/48 Phantom

Revell 1/32 Tornado

And every new tool Airfix model.....
