Luckily Steve the glazing is all pre painted on the lanc (mind you I didn't know that and bought a masking set).

Hi all well I dont like Tamiya decals, they are so fragile, and whats the point of seperate white decals under the coloured ones. Need to order some more 1/48 spit decals ruined the ones from the kit.View attachment 215180

The idea of putting a white decal on before the roundel is so that the camouflage colour doesn't show through the finished decal.I wish more manufacturers would do it.

Which underside colour did you use on the Spitfires Ken? Could be the photo but they look a very intense light blue. A shame about the decals, hopefully you can get a new set soon.

Yes the pics are very blue Joe I think it is the flash or something, the undersides are blue I've seen them done blue on other builds and my boss will not know the correct colours anyway

I realise these pic are also quite a bit bluer than the actual planes I've tried to tone it down nearer the actual colour but this is as close as I can get..
