Thanks Paul, check out my first attempt at 1/72 figure conversion in my Matchbox Curtiss Helldiver dio. I'm sure you'll see the subtle progress i had achieved.

Cheers,
Richard

The End.

I seldom venture into WW1 but the only Airfix WW1 biplane I had just wanted to be built. Building such an old kit and adding the what nots was fun and educational.. I found out that it had a crude bomb carriage between the wheel struts but I didn't have enough reference to work on it. Thanks for those who had kept me company when building this through the years of abrupt and sometimes long absence. I was only sad that two great contributors to the old forum didn't get to see the finish but am glad to have shared it here.

Cheers,
Richard

Much obliged , Richard. The one and only Harry Tate. :smiling4:

Brilliant work. I keep reminding myself, yes, it is 1:72.

Well Richard, it had every thing, great layout, the painting was superb, and the model itself perfection. Enjoyed watching and seeing this develop. Certainly gives me the incentive to try harder .

Colin and John, I should have replied sooner. Many thanks for comments. Glad you enjoyed the build as much as I did. John R...at least it's given you incentive and not discouraged you.

Cheers,
Richard
