Thanks Richard ;)

Arrfffhhh...I'm living dangerous or my life is changing....? :confused:I have started to build planes and, maybe now, boats!!! :P

Ouch :D

I've not got my own room unfortunately. We have got a spare bedroom but my wife has got that for her card making room. Luckily we have got a 40 foot lounge with a dining table at one end so I have got my stuff on that. Only just got back into model making after quite a few years off so not got that much stuff collected together.......YET!!!

A beautiful collection Roy!!

You have many classics there, personally I like the little Dinkys, but I miss one of the most classic cars...you don't like the Land Rover? :) :) :)

That's because I snapped the picture right after I cleaned. If I had taken the pic in the middle of a build, it would have looked like a bomb had gone off in there :lol

Robert:)

You mean there was a brush on the desk and an open pot of paint? Shock, horror! :P - No pic, no proof :)

My wife wants my man cave to look like that, she even objects to my using cleaned jam jars for cleaning brushes.

I recently moved my business out of my home as I need to expand and take on staff.

The hobby has now taken over my old office which has a perfect set-up enabling me to have a seperate paint/spray area to build area. It is only short-term as I will be placing the house on the market next spring but for now I am 'as happy as Larry' in my new set-up.

Some pics for you....

First an overview

Going from the left - the paint/spray area. Up to 10 of these spray booths can be daisy chained, one will do for most people but as I build mainly in 1/32 with a 1/24 to do next year I have decided two will work best... Parts drying to the left with thinners/clean up stuff to the right...

My little 1/48 Italari Hurricane is on the bench, being built for my office shelf to keep my Spitfire company.

Next my build area. The paint racks to the back are just propped up, if this was to be permanent I would fix them to the wall. The area is split in two, a cutting mat for the main build and a ceramic tile for p.e. work.

Yes, I even have stuff under the table, compressor, a large supply of ipa and a few other bits and bods...

Then up on top there are my spares boxes....

I have some paint lists blue-tacced to the front of the cupboard and reference material on the shelf.

In the cupboard are spare supplies....

Then there are my drawers, all four arranged with different tools to had. These are not perfect for this, I am using various plastic trays and such to keep the drawers organised but this will have to do until I move.

Anyway - now there is the stash.....

Very nice Barry.

I'm in total chaos as usual during a build!

You wouldn't want to look in the cupboard in the background with the models on top! My paints are in a cabinet under the desk (beneath the vice) which you can't quite see. One good think about enamel tinlets is that they don't need much space to store them.

Don't get me going on reference material!

This is just the one cupboard which I'm allowed in the house, to keep stuff reasonably accessible. The rest is in the loft and sometimes I fear that the ceilings will come down :)

Cheers

Steve

Laurie, my stash is smaller than yours !

It comprises two 1/72 kits which were gifted to me by Polux (Pink Panther) and which will get built and a 1/32nd Tamiya P-51 which I've been looking at for literally years.

Three kits...that's it!

Cheers

Steve
