Just spent some time in New Orleans Louisiana here in the USA and went to the National WWII museum.. great venue if anyone comes to the USA from across the pond for a visit... and for those of us who live in the states,,,it’s a must see

Absolutely. Is this the same as the D-Day Museum? After seeing the Panzer Museum in Munster and the one at Overloon, I cannot wait to see this one. Has anyone been to the museum in Aberdeen, Maryland? I read somewhere that the armor from the Patton Living Armor Museum in Fort Knox had been moved to Aberdeen.

Paul - don't know about the Patton museum but I thought that Aberdeen Proving Ground museum had been relocated to Fort Lee

Thanks for the fantastic piccies Joe. I'll be going to the AWM in Canberra for the second time soon. Unfortunately no Australian ground units fought in the ETO so no D-Day exhibits for me. That's why it's so nice to have guys like you who show their pictures of museums that we may never have the chance to visit. If I could I would visit museums as the entrance fee goes to help with part of the upkeep.
