Hope the fishkeeping is going well and you are finding it enjoyable

This thread encouraged me to offer my Tropical Fish set up free for collection.
Put it on our neighbourhood WhatsApp group and it was snapped up very quickly.

Kind of you to make someone happy with it - I had one of those filled with a 1/35 village diorama many moons ago, before that it had an Amazon-fish-scenery. Good old times...

The tank is going really well. Maturing very nicely. 7 neon tetras, 4 otocinclus, 2 peppered corys, 2 corridors juliei, 1 yellow rabbit snail plus some shrimp that just won't stop breeding.
Many hours spent just watching them in their silent, fascinating world.

Interesting population. When I was a little kid in the early '50s my Dad had a neon tetra which people came from miles around to see! They were rare and expensive in those days, no-one was breeding them so they had to be caught in the wild, and the airlines didn't know how to handle them so most died in transit from South America.
Get some cichlids, they'll stop your shrimp breeding!
