We have painted and done projects on and off, of all sorts of descriptions but we have never written a blog before and after reading a few on here thought it might be a fun thing to do and hopefully help us learn and get some great ideas along the way and even give some back. Tho we are both only just getting back Into scale modelling from war gaming we have both made a healthy start as for how we can help you well C is a serving infantry soldier and M is an ex Royal marine so if you need help you on british kit we will be more than happy, provided it's not restricted information.

Welcome M and C hope you enjoy it here. Very nice of you to offer help as first hand info. is indispensable.

Starting a series of Afghanistan equipment soon. Finished a Merlin now for some land based vehicles. Get stuck I will take you up on your offer. ;)

Welcome to the forum M and C, there are people here of all modelling skills, from all walks of life, and some other members with military connections, so I'm sure you'll both fit right in :D ;)

Welcome to the forum M and C, Look forward to seeing what you have been up to.

Feel free to add you real names as we are all pretty much on first name terms here.

We have a slowly growing reference section that you can post all the photos you like of your work tools and kit, Well of those you may talk about...

I like that figure you're painting there, if you're using a brush to paint it then you must have a pretty steady hand to keep the flesh colour you're using off of the coat ;) :D

Hello and welcome to the friendliest forum on the net, bar none I love it here, the only way I'm leaving here is in a hearse (obviously I don't expect you to be so smitten) but give it a day or two and I'm sure you will feel the same. They are great guys and gals on here.
