Nick, a fantastic addition to the Spitfire GB. It may have taken a while, but it was well worth the wait to see this beauty.
 
That Nick, was well worth the wait. A top job for sure, well done. I would be really happy if I produced a build of that quality.
 
Absolutely gorgeous. I think I have said it before Nick but that propeller is a beast.

Thanks Guys for all your kind comments. This is the fourth Airfix Spitfire I've built in the past few years and I have, I think, three more in the stash. This is also my first clipped wing or bubbletop version.

The impetus somewhat went out of this build (and some of my others) through a combination of getting my poor old Mum moved into an assisted living place and getting her old place marketable, sold and cleared plus going back to work a couple of days a week through the summer so thanks for sticking with me.
