Well Guys, I got there in the end. This build dragged on for various reasons, but she's now all done, and here are the pics. Paint was mostly MRP.....

Thanks Guys for all your kind comments. This is the fourth Airfix Spitfire I've built in the past few years and I have, I think, three more in the stash. This is also my first clipped wing or bubbletop version.

The impetus somewhat went out of this build (and some of my others) through a combination of getting my poor old Mum moved into an assisted living place and getting her old place marketable, sold and cleared plus going back to work a couple of days a week through the summer so thanks for sticking with me.
