Well, here she is. A little three-wheel delivery truck from Mini Art in 1/35 will be my entry for this Group Build.

Instructions - these look pretty straightforward at first glance although they are not as nicely split up as some other producers......

There are quite a few schemes included although I make no apologies for picking a slightly boring one. Couldn't resist the scheme of my second favourite biscuit producer....

The parts. All looks very nice and quite a low parts count for a Mini Art kit. The vehicle is pretty small though.

And finally, the decals....

I hope to get a start on this sometime next week and hopefully we won't suffer any more forum hiccups during the GB window. Welcome along anybody who cares to join me.......

Nick.

Looks very interesting

Its nice to see all the different things getting done in this gb

Nice choice Nick, a three wheeler is certainly different for a delivery vehicle

That looks funky. Will be following

That looks very quirky, great choice Nick 😊.

I will follow along with interest.

Well, very minor works have been commenced.......

Rear axle. Very minimal contact point so hopefully squared up..

PE grills cemented into the bonnet...

20260118_171512.jpg

Dealing with some ejector pin marks on the inside walls of the rear body...

And the rear body built up - roof just dry fitted for now....

Mini Art provide alternate wheel centres - I'm going with the posh chrome hub caps...

That's it so far. I see some very tiny engine parts and some copper wire in my future. Thanks for looking in.

Well, my apologies for the lack of regular updates, but progress on this has been scant to say the least. I filled some more ejector pin marks in the floor. Some or all of these might be under the seat. The one I've left will definitely be hidden under the battery...

Next, the front part of the cab had the few parts added that could be done prior to painting without making that difficult. As can be seen in the first photo below, one of the tiny stalks that hold the headlamps has already been broken and had to be re-attached..

Work then turned to the engine and final drive unit. I must commend MiniArt on their ability to mold a carburettor more accurately in 1/35 scale than certain other manufacturers seem to be able to manage in 1/9, but it does make for parts that are very small and somewhat difficult to handle. For context, I give you said carburettor and it's separate float bowl......

Needless to say construction of this part of the model has been very slow with only a couple of parts added per session and then being left to set before moving on. This next picture is of about 30 parts in partial assembly....

And here is the engine/drive assembly as she currently sits with only about another half a dozen or so parts still to be added to it!

More to follow if my hands are steady enough. Thanks for looking in.
