Scott, you're quite right when you comment on how well Carrie is picking it up.

The finish she is achieving so early on in her model making is a credit to her, and all credit to you for helping her!

Some blokes wouldn't entertain the wife getting involved, but I think it's great to muck in together like you two are doing.

O.K. folks,

Now the grey adhesive I spread on has hardened, I've been throwing snow balls around!

Well, cheap white emulsion paint anyway...

I've also added a broken stone wall in front of the picket fence and a few bits and bobs.

I'll probably have a mess around some more before I play with the gun and figures, but we're getting there.

I hope you like it thus far.

Thanks again for taking the time to have a look,

Ron

Hi Ron

Nice little dio, the floor tile is an innovative base! The figures look cool. Well done mate!

Thanks Paul, glad you like it.

Yes, the floor tile was a bit of a brain wave, 'specially where my brain is concerned! The tile is only 6mm thick so is unobtrusive and being clay doesn't need sealing first and it won't warp no matter how much wet stuff is put on!

Thanks for your input.

Ron

Ron as always this is looking very cool indeed...... no pun intended great stuff keep it up.

Sorry for not replying earlier Scott, but I've been away for a couple of days visiting no.2 son in Oxfordshire. Just got back and I am trying to catch up with the various threads!

Thanks for having a look at my diorama, I do appreciate your nice comments.

Eyup mucker, youre really making me feel cold ,looking at all this snow! As always a superb scene, ron, loving the ploughed field effect. Like your good self, ive been very busy this last month or so , and as a result havent been getting on the forum much or doing any modelling either, hopefully i can find time to get a bit done soon. cheers mate ,tony
