Just as a gentle reminder to the newer members (and to some of the more forgetful ones).
There are so few rules on here, and every one is so well behaved (most of the time) that it is very rare that I actually have to put the Admin cap on and roll my sleeves up. Nothing to serious, just the first time in a very long time.
So the reminder bit:
The forum is a place we come to escape from things like politics, religion and sport and designated threads on such matters are not seen in a good light.
OK as I said, a short bit of banter here and there in an other thread is not an issue. After all we all hate politicians and the other team.....
But any thread that gets overtaken by political debate or which football player has the nicest hair will be edited back to the subject at hand.
If you feel the need to discuss such matters with each other, then it's PM or emails please.
So A quick comment here and there = OK
Long winded debate is a no no regarding the three topics in hand. (Sport, religion and politics, for those that have forgotten already
