Here's my offering to the Gods of Sprue and Glue...
July 20th 1942 Infanterie division (motorized) G.D. cross the Donets river.
July 21st-23rd battles north of around Razdorskaya, a town near the confluence of the Don and Donets rivers.

Great work Rob. Love the attention to small details on show. The texture and colouration on the hedge, in particular, is absolutely spot on.
 
A well engineered scene, Rob, with a lot of fine details and, at the same time, not too crammed with "objects" as an A/T position should have been looking like during an advance. :thumb2: :thumb2::thumb2:

Thank you Tim, cheers for the link to your splendid figure painting post. I had a crack at the five o'clock shadow, very effective, but with the chaps being glued to base getting close enuf wasn't happening! One fella got a slap with the brush but not clear in my shots.

This is one super diorama. Action, great modelling and painting, excellent ground work, plenty to see!
