I got mine from John in the SM shop and I'm sure he uses Royal Mail so should be no problems in getting them through the post Dave\ said:I've never tried vallejo paints at all interested in using the metal finish, I fancy doing another shelby cobra but with a chrome finish to it!
Be interesting to see how shiny it looks. Looking great so far, I'm going to have to get a sabre myself now!
One other thing, is there any restrictions with getting these paints via mail order, just that royal mail seem a bit strange about what they deliver!
Hi Tony the colour is metal colour 77.724 Silver, and yes I've got the metal varnish so I will give it a try later.\ said:That looks fantastic Ian , which colour was that? Did you get some of the clear varnish too ? Its supposed to not affect the shine but we'll have to see , cheers tony
Thanks Colin it's not as thin as Alclad but it flows lovely and it doesn't stink like Alclad, it will certainly give it a run for its money\ said:That looks bloody lovely. Are these paints going to give Alclad the elbow ?
That looks amazing, what a finish that is, the variation on the panels looks realistic, breaks up the monotone of a single silver. This is going to look fantastic with the decals on etc.\ said:Got this painted now, all done with the new Vallejo metal colours, apart from the air brake bays.im really liking this product, even with my poor painting skills I think they look very good. Now I'm going to try the new metal varnish from Vallejo.

No problems at all Patrick, it takes Tamiya and frog tape very well no peeling at all\ said:That does look very very nice Ian!
How did the Vallejo stuff behave with masking?
