I'd think you really need a replacement set Ian. Surely the decals don't have to be from the 1970s, many of them would have been damaged badly over that time.

Think your right Joe just that I can't seem to find any F3 decals may have to go for a set of F8

You could replace the codes with letters from Xtradecal sheet 'X72189' available from Hannants for £4.99. There are also sheets of roundels and fin flashes in the Xtradecal range. I've got several sheets in 1/48.

I'd needed to get 2 sets Dave there are only 2 Q's and I would need 4

I would do a different aircraft from the same squadron.Only two 'Q's needed then.It wouldn't matter to me that the serial is wrong.Decal sheets like this are always handy to have.Ive got a box full that I've collected over the years.
