Great start Ian, the cockpit and instrument panel looks superb, cheers tony
 
Looking great so far Ian. This was my first WW1 aircraft I ever built (of the two I've made !) How are you finding Eduard ? I really like them.

Thanks Colin I do like the kit but had trouble with removing the engine parts with them being so thin and connected to the sprue in so many places View attachment 82938

Very true, but that's the price we pay for such fine detail. However, in the profi pack you don't use that part, as it's replaced by a piece of photo etch. Easy to bend, but not break.

Definitely worth persevering with Ian, that looks the business!

I bet those struts were like wrestling with limp spaghetti ;)
 
It looks the bizz to me well done so far these are timeless planes they look so good
 
I've heard of Lego rigs being used before, also wooden rigs made up specifically for a build. Nice work Ian. I have found that certain models can lead to minor hair loss.
