Very true, but that's the price we pay for such fine detail. However, in the profi pack you don't use that part, as it's replaced by a piece of photo etch. Easy to bend, but not break.

Well after a battle I've finally got the wings together. I came so close to bashing it with my fist I couldn't get the struts to sit right There must be an easy way. But its done now

I've heard of Lego rigs being used before, also wooden rigs made up specifically for a build. Nice work Ian. I have found that certain models can lead to minor hair loss.
