Airfix have a totally new one out in the Tropical version, but all the parts start off as a MK.1.
Cripes that's a lot of flash
And according to scalemates is from 2015... Not exactly new. I'll stick to the Italeri one.
After some extensive cleaning, I’ve managed to get some parts put together, and done some painting.
When compared to the 1/72 Airfix kit that you are also building it is clear to see how far Airfix have come. I've no doubt you'll tame this old kit and produce a decent result but it will take some fettling. I wonder if there will be fit issues as well as loads of flash.
Great start on a not so great looking kit.
Done some detail painting, getting ready to close this up.

Today’s job was painting the pilot.
Following this with interest Ian as I have picked up a later production 1/48 Airfix Hurricane today.
Pilot looks great Ian , he’ll fill the cockpit nicely , cheers tony
