I see the RAF Regiment is already guarding the plane with their Scorpion

The B-17 is looking good, I didn’t realise you were going to paint it as RAF Coastal Command.

Yes I just didn’t want to paint it as Memphis Belle, and I really liked this colour scheme.

I’ve got a book about Coastal Command, published in about 1943, IIRC. Interesting reading, but I don’t remember if it had anything about B-17s in it.

Started work on the turbochargers.

I’ve now got all the decals on, and fitted the undercarriage.

As you can see on some of the photos, most of the gun barrels have been knocked off during the building process. So I got myself some more.
