#metoo. lol

I have, maybe, some aftermarket decals for mine though.
Its getting harder to find a good victim. I think I am up to 7 already.
Ha,yeah...... took me a while to decide on which one to do!
I did read that these kits are very nice, but have,as a downside, very thick carrier on the decals...... your am set is probably a good idea :thumb2: .

VVVVVVVVVVVVERY tempting...let me think about it and I,ll get back with the group !

It’s tempting me as well, and I’m already signed up for the spitfire GB…..good job I don’t have anything in the stash…..we’ll…apart from two copies of the very ancient Airfix issue that are a good forty five years old…..

And builds up into a very nice bird. You can also cross kit the Airfix with the Tamiya and build other versions...dont ask which though I cant remember.

You, Andy, are a very very bad man! OK, I just bought a Tamiya 1/48 Mk VI, so can I play :nerd:

Not sure what markings yet, but I’ve seen a set for Len Cheshire’s ride, so that’s tempting…..

Ha,wise choice of kit.... looks like we'll be playing "snap" then ! ;)
I'm on the lookout for replacement decals as we speak :)

Andy that’s sweet if you don’t become a “Wingy Guy” after this build we may have to call Matron. Nice choice.

I'm going to avoid using most of the Tamiya decals by substituting Montex insignia masks that are included in their mask set. Tamiya kits are generally quite superb but their decals let them down and I can't stand the staples on their sprue bags.

Great to hear your joining us Tim.

Mine will be this one:

Bought at the Southwell show a few years ago for some ridiculously low price - £12 I think. I splashed out on a set of Montex canopy masks, which added another fiver.

Hmm... can't find my sky serial numbers. I see fun with masking tape in ny near future?
Luckily all straight lined letters for this one.

I’ll be going with this:

I’m thinking of getting an aftermarket decal sheet though to make it a bit more interesting.

Geoff.

Bought mine this week off eBay should be here soon it’s a oldie but not to sure about the goodie part. Should be a good experience for me as I never built one I rather mess a cheap kit up that a hard to get expensive one.
