discussion Pauls Suzuki Katana...... Tamiya GB

[PaulTRose]

I'm planning on two for this GB

Haven't done a bike for ages and I've never done this version of the Katana so it's first up

Plan is a slightly different colour scheme

Very nice Paul

Time to start

This is the 'custom tuned' version of the standard kit.... All that means is there's an extra sprue with different brake discs, four-into-one exhaust, different forks and rear shockers, and and oil cooler

[John Race]

Shall follow Paul.

Great choice for the GB. These large scale motor bike kits build up into eye catching models.

What Jim said, I really feel I should try one some day - and I've never even ridden a motorbike (and not about to start now). They do make terrific models. Good choice.

Following along, feet up, brew on,

Following along Paul. Good luck with all that silver plastic - it always seems to make clean-up difficult..... I can never tell if I've got the seams sorted until there's some paint on it...

Look forward to seeing this build Paul

Following, 1/12 scale should make an impressive model

Good luck with your build Paul.

Geoff.
