Welcome and thanks for getting this one past the post.
Do please try and keep the chat on topic.
Just to clarify the rules which are pretty simple
Any kit any scale doesn't matter how far they are built this gb is for all the shelf of Doom kits (of which I have plenty)
Keep to 1 kit per thread
And if you can remember try and put in the date you originally started your kit.
Most of all have fun and may I suggest bins at the ready just in case.

Looks like we could see some dusty models pop up in this one.
Well done Peter in getting this one off the ground.

Currently my count is up to at least six I know of but I won't know until I raid the cupboard of doom

Does this include figures? Not an issue if it doesn’t, but I have a 120mm Native American figure that has been primed for at least twenty five years!

Uh-Oh!!!.....If this is for unfinished stuff, I'm in big trouble Peter. I probably have about 35, if not more, dating back to the 70's. Any chance we could change the end date to about 1 March, 2024???? I might have a chance to finish most of them............

Prost

Hi Peter
Thanks for getting this GB up and running. It seems a popular idea. In people's first post it would be rather fun to say why the poor model got abandoned on the shelf of doom in the first place. That is of course if the modeller can remember that far back :flushed:

As time draws closer I have been hunting in the stash and came up with quite a few. IMG_20210824_131756.jpg
Also a revell 1/32 tornado lurking at the bottom of the stash. IMG_20210824_131543.jpg
And a revell highway dragon IMG_20210824_131629.jpg

I have a 1/32 tornado unfinished also, along with many other candidates.

I've got any number of things I could use!!!

Will have a look when I get back from hols.

I was hoping to complete my 1/87 scale Tank Destroyer Company for this group build. Could it count as one kit? It was started in 1972 and last worked on in 2002 I think, when I got really involved in WWII German units & US WWII Engineers.

Just the same as a normal thread but if you remember include the original start date if you can remember it.
