I might join this, depending on what else I have going on … got two ideas that I want to do, even though I don’t have suitable kits for either of them, and one of the two is rather more involved than just building and painting a truck :) If my AVRE and the model after that (as well as the weather) want to cooperate, I may have them done in time to take part in this GB.

There's still not much to look at yet as it's a back burner project, just a heck of a lot of templates and bits of plastic, but will put some up when it starts taking shape.

I'm sure there are plenty of kits with a one piece chassis, if you were so inclined.
Thanks Andy .
Ok I'm in, have a Hobby Boss , looked at it once and decided against ,but will have a go .

Great idea and well done Peter. Can you confirm the start and end dates please?
Any thing designed to carry a load big or small over any distance
I have this ....

Would it be within the rules as it doesn't really carry anything - it pulls :rolling:

Looks like a truck and you can get a load in the back

Hi David
This is another group build I’d love to join had I the time. I’d love to build the Thunder Models Morris C8 Bofors truck but I’ve simply got too much on. It is a good subject though with a good range of topics to build. I’ll watch the resulting builds with interest.
Cheers, P

Good luck with the GB Peter and well done for getting it over the line.

I have too much on to join but will be watching with interest.

ATB.

Andrew

Time for me to finally source a victim. Ive been wanting to build a 1/24 show truck and now I have a reason to

Great job Peter. I have so many to choose from but my wife bought me one yesterday at Hobby Lobby that may be the victim. The kit hasn’t been released since 1977 by AMT still undecided.

Please your hand up if I have missed anyone
Provisional dates are beginning of August to the end of the year
That makes it 4 months if every one is OK with that.
And the usual rules apply

The extra time will be good some 1/25 scale truck kits have over 250 parts and can be troublesome if someone has never built one.
