Cheers Ian

Thanks Harry, the working on a bit at a time is so I don't get bored ;)

Many thanks Andy,i have to admit to getting impatient now and again to see it all together, this is about the biggest build ive done so far

So heres the next instalment, the cloak has been finished so apart from the arms and his sword hes nearly done

I really should move onto the chariot now and get that finished.

Paul

It tried to but the rain has returned. Spring rain I guess. Should be a good summer by all accounts, so that usually means a pretty cool winter for you lot down there.

Sorry Joe, but shouldn't that be UP there seeing as we're nearly on top of the world and NZ being on the underside... ;)

That sounds like the similar thing we had in my area a few months back, I wondered if it was a large UFO, scared me somewhat so I hid under the stairs...

No , you've got it all wrong, we are at the top and you lot are at the bottom as viewed from space. o_O

I look away for two mins and this is nearly complete. Fantastic build work Paul and your painting skills leave me awestruck.

Tony.

Hmmm, interesting how the colors are getting darker.

Is it because of the light in the picture or the colors become darker when dried (Vallejo if I remember well)?

Well ive not seen that bright orb for some time now.

Tony stop looking away ;)

Francesco it could be either, paint does darken when it dries, but it could be my crap photos :(

Hi all

As I said im back on the chariot now, id like to get this finished first and then the horses, so I finished the other side and then did the first wheel. I added a pattern on the outside and then distressed it, still a bit more to do as I think it looks a bit new, but there will obviously be some dirt and things to add when its on the base

As you can see the sun is shining, probably only for a moment, For all of you in the south batten down the hatches for this evening, sounds like its going to be a bit of a storm so stay safe

Hi all

Cheers Joe

Started on the platform, a wooden surround with leather strap lattice

Loads to do on this, I think the lattice work will take as long as the tartan did

... At least mistakes should be easier to fix.

I was just wondering where Budica was. Excellent work!
