Good afternoon fellow modelers, I was lucky enough to go to the island of Oahu last week and visit the Pearl harbor area and aviation museum. Although I don’t build any of the Wingy things I thought some of you may be interested in a few of the pictures from the museum. Hope that you all enjoy and continue the great modeling work that you all do. There are also a few land vehicles in the pictures as well. The USS Missouri was amazing.

You're a lucky man and very nice pics too, Joe. Thanks for sharing them with us. Did you get a chance to go out to the USS Arizona Memorial too? I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, but never had the chance.....or the cash.......

Went to Honolulu once - stopped to take on bunkers - about 8 hours - then off again - on passage from San Francisco to Djakarta ( Tanjung Priok actually ). One of those places where you would like to spend some time, but the schedule got in the way!

yes the AZ memorial is a emotional experience and to imagine that she sunk in 7 minutes just blew me away when I heard that...I cant imagine what it would have been like to be in PH that day in December...Hawaii is a great place to visit, you should definitely try to go Allen

yes that is the same one...pretty amazing to see if up close like this as well.
