discussion Recommendations For Panel Scribing Tools

Hi all,
Please could I have some recommendations for a decent set of panel lining scribers/tools.
These will be used on Gundam kits.

Those are good on straight lines, but not so good on curves. An eclipse scriber does a good job on curves, but leaves a ridge that has to be scraped off afterwards. I have a V grainer bit that I use in a mapping pen handle that is the best of both worlds. I got it from an art shop thirty or so years ago, but can’t seem to find one online anywhere.,..I’ll keep looking…..

I have a few, Revell one, a panel line scriber, dental type toothpicks, plus use plain scalpels/sharp knife too.

I've recently bought a Bucasso Scriber from Amazon. So far I'm very impressed. For Gundam I believe a .15 or .20 scriber is preferred.

Dymo tape to provide a line to scribe against and a razor saw can be useful.

I've used a sewing machine needle and a scribing template.
