discussion Regiment of Scotland - Mess Dress

Hi Folks

Back at the modelling bench rather than the woodworking bench, and here is my finished bust an officer of the Royal Regiment of Scotland wearing current Mess Dress.

The uniform is painted in acrylics while the face is artist oils over an acrylic base

Despite being English born & bred I have a great association with the very North.

Paternal grandfather Glasgow. Maternal grandfather a Shetlander.

I with my two sons have kilts in the cupboard.
