Nice work mate.

Thanks Scottie.

Here's the bunch of primed and zinethalled ex Tamiya restored figures. They look much more convincing than when they were in a mish mash of the old paint work, putty and different plastic arms, head and legs...

I will be painting them using Calvin Tans method of light passes of filters after I have highlighted areas with white.

This looks to be the start of something great Wabble!
Steve

Hope so Steve, I haven't done a big Dio in a while. Thought it was just an easy task just rehashing but ran away with doing more that I was supposed to.

Thanks Steve, Tim, Neil and Jim.
Couldn't leave the figures as they were...they would have been frozen without some sought of winter protection. The figures were old and I went crazy with the putty. Now they look more convincing under some primer... cohesive as Jim said that even in a group like I just did they look like they're on a coffee break in between a movie take.:o

Time is getting short so I need to rush a bit. Hope detailing doesn't suffer for that.

Cheers,

I've often been a victim of mission creep myself. Beautiful work on the figs. I would keep three the max in an M10 turret as four would hinder operations and would expose more to the cold.

Thanks Paul,

:D The driver let out a silent stinker and that's why there are four in the turret needing fresh air.

I finally got the arms and the pulling of the tunic for these two figures done... what do you think.

And also the rest of the nine figures have their gear on except the radioman still needs a radio and phone receiver...

The Figures are looking good Richard, the ones searching & being searched go together well.

Thanks Graeme, Tamiya on the left and Dragon on the right...both extensively modified. The Tamiya figure is the latest but the detail is hidden under all that putty to bulk it for the winter setting.

Cheers,
Wabble
