Morning guys,
Just a quick one, I'm considering removing some waterslide Decals and would like to know how would be the best way to go about it?
They were put on yesterday, and have not been gone over with any setting solutions or Varnish, and I'm not bothered about destroying them.... although I don't want to damage the painted surface beneath.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :thumb2:.

Try selotape but be carefull about pressing it down. Wrap a piece around your finger and dab it on the decal. The decal should still be soft enough to come off.

They lifted off effortlessly and absolutely no damage to the surface underneath what so ever :thumb2: .
Can't thank you enough mate:hugging-face:.

That is a trick I'll definitely make a note of in my "Little Book of Stolen Ideas". Thanks Mike.

Nice save Mike. One to file away in the noggin…..
There used to be a technique that used the removal properties of letraset to put painted markings on a model. Underpaint in the marking colour. Put the appropriate letraset on the underpaint. Put the finish colour on. Lift the letraset using tape……hey presto….painted on markings. I think it’s demonstrated in the old Tony Greenland panzer book.
