Depicted as 'Red 2', 374° Squadriglia, 153° Gruppo Autonomo, Grottaglie, April 1941. Most probably involved in Malta fighter cover and Mediterranean patrols.

This was the first model kit I ever built back in the early 1980s with my Dad. Still got the original somewhere, will try to find it and compare the early 80s to today

Thanks Theuns.The wrap around scheme must be rare, first time I have encountered it. I did not follow the scheme to the letter, took a bit of liberty with the underside pattern.
