discussion Revell (ICM) 1/35 WOT 6 Truck

Been working on this one over the past few weeks. A nicely detailed kit, but there are a lot of very small and fiddly parts that were difficult to clean up without breaking them.

Painted mainly by airbrush with Vallejo Model Air and weathered with oil brushers.

I'm quite satisfied with how it's turned out. Here are the pics:

Thanks for the likes and comments guys. I think you'll find it easier than that Mirror Models kit Andy although I was glad of the razor saw to remove some of the more fragile pieces.

I seem to have improved my painting of chassis type parts which was something I wanted to focus on.

Works for me I suppose the license plates are for a pre-war (or perhaps post-war?) version and the WD number for one during the war? Call it a military surplus one with a civilian plate and you’re done

Did the rules change after the war so that if the vehicle went into private/business use that it had to be licensed to be driven on the road??

That’s more or less what I assumed would be the case anyway. However, knowing a little about the UK, I would not at all be surprised if different rules apply for no particular reason that’s obvious to anyone

That’s a great picture Steve. Everything looks worn out except the tires!
