I missed this thread. Sorry Tony.

What a nice wee aircraft, you are doing a great job on it.

I have just noticed your last post....Please tell me you still intend to use fishing line and are not going to attack poor Helen's bonce for the rigging wires?!!!!!!!!!!

She'll have now't left, poor woman...

Cheers,

Ron

Looking good Sir, have every confidence that you will master that rigging with those 1:144 rats eyes of yours. Cheers Derek

Well, i plucked up enough courage to start the rigging and final assembly. I decided to fix the middle wings first ,making sure the struts lined up with the top wing (NOT easy, second pair of hands useful!)Then i fixed the fishing line to the top of the struts before putting on the top wing. The wires were then threaded through the holes i had drilled in the middle and bottom wings before attaching a clothes peg to the bottom and letting the weight tension the line. all that you need to do then is apply a drop of superglue to the bottom hole and when set cut off the excess line. i did similar with the 3 lines on the undercarriage and the lines on the tail. I decided not to try and do the control lines for the elevators or the extra bracing wires to the fuselage from the middle and bottom wing, it would have been very difficult in this scale!!!! I reckon theres enough on to give the right impression. It wasnt as bad as i thought, it just needs a bit of forward planning and thinking about the order of doing things. All in all I really enjoyed this tiny little kit, and for £2.99 i reckon its 'bang for buck' is excellent!! heres the final assembly pics and the finished article, Ill be putting some more in the 'aircraft pics' section ,, cheers tony:beer:
