Nice to see that again. Shows how big a company was, which is something us single vehicle builders tend to overlook…

Stab section (ketten, schwim, 250/3 & /5), two recce sections (5x 250/9, 5x/9neu) & a heavy weapon section (250/1, /6, 2x/8 & 2x/7).

Feel free to add your medium sized favorite pics reduced due to the upgrade.
Here's another of my faves. PG coy w/attached Pioneer elements featuring 251s of many types.

Great idea mate! I may well add a couple of favourites!

In a way I wish had photos of the builds I did as a kid, to see just how awful they were,. Lol.
I did have several planes hanging from the ceiling in a dogfight configuration, I remember it vividly.
Sadly I have no old photos of those early models.... 8-(

These look great Paul. Must have taken you quite a while to make each vehicle even in that scale. For me a company size in 1/35 would take up quite a bit of real estate.
How far back is an old build? 20...30 years? I may not have photos further than that.

Cheers,
Wabble

Thanks Wabble. We're talking years for some of these bigger projects. My US Engineers are going on 50+ years.
Anything posted before August 2024 was my initial thought, as they were limited to very small images due to the software change. My thinking was a place you could post pictures that were better than those in the original thread so people could see them.

Excellent idea Paul. So many great build pics were thumbnail sized after the upgrade. I’ll add some of mine later.

Love those big dios of yours Paul. So many points of interest and so much time invested.

'Crossing the Rhine' . An old dio showing the cautious unloading of LVTs prior to the crossing.

Another old quarry dio depicting rip/rap stone crushing & fill dirt distribution as ambulances pass by.

Thanks guys.
Neil, there was a photo of a quarry with Utah Beach in the background w/rock crushing plants & shovel doing similar work as my dio. I can't find it, been looking the last hour, but will keep at it. The plant consisted of a rough crusher for rip/rap sized output (4 to 6") that fed a gravel sized output crusher. I just scratched the rip/rap plant & kitbashed a mobile shovel.

Gravel crusher in foreground & RR crusher feeding it, barely seen.

Not just yours' Paul. Fine Scale Modeling magazine used it in some ads. I'm currently redoing it featuring elements of a Dump Truck Company & some jack hammer operators.
