Rick,
Some excellent scratchduggery going on mate. It's good when the mojo is high and everything falls into place.

Coming on night Rick. Sorry I got a behind on this.

Not a lot got done today........got a start on the interior of the shovel cab. scratched an operator's seat and some control levers. still need to do the foot pedals for the boom swing. got the door latches for the two side doors made and installed still have the shovel engine compartment access door to do as well as a few grab handles.P1012272.JPGP1012273.JPGP1012271.JPG

The "inside/outside" boom framework of the two booms led me to the easier "inside boom" solution of the supplied arrangement versus redoing the bucket arm & boom/pulley arrangement of the "outside boom", although I've always regretted my decision.

Its too much to take in :anguished::fearful::worried:

Whoa Rick,

Lots going on in this scratchy project buddy. Definitely can't be easy in micro-miniature scale. It seems sitting on the sun of a beatch has helped you a bunch. Lotsa sun, cool drinks and tons of tiny parts!!! Doesn't get any better Bro!!! Shovel on.........................

Prost

Yeah Paul, I'm having second thoughts myself......I think I'm going to try to make what I have look better than it does but not convert it to the Osgood configuration.....there is some "blobbiness" that needs refining and then the bucket dump arms need to be added and some general clean up on the bucket itself. Thanks for stopping by. :thumb2:

Hi Allen, this project has sucked me in......I have been watching You Tube videos of these machines in action, trying to figure out how to rig something like this up. Hope I don't go blind or crazy or both!! :tongue-out3:
