Scale Model Shop

Rick's 1-87 Scale ROCO Ju-52m Medical Transport

Just had a look in this and for what the box contained I think you have done a great job Rick. I will agree it's not a show stopper but you have made it a much better model than what it was.

Thanks Ian, I'm in total agreement....."Lipstick on a PIG"! It will be a while before I can post up pics of my current progress (if you can call it that) as we upgraded from windows 8 to 10 and now my computer is refusing to allow me to upload pics. The Geeks are scheduled to look at it on the 28th of this month so hopefully will have a good outcome and get on with finishing up the build. :thumb2:

Oh dear Chris, Matron will not like being compared to some windows system . Arh I think she has just started the bike , be with you soon !

Rick breaking the wing off is not the right thing to do either in a hateful way or my mistake :smiling3:
Considering the battle you have endured and the size it's not bad !

So here's the latest, I have used the removed plug to fabricate the upper cargo door as the back side will be visible from the other side of this bird....the bottom door will be scratched later from strip styrene as it won't be visible from the bottom unless you pick this thing up....going on a base so who cares. finally got the scratched exhaust ring and stacks located and the prop and cowl on Royal PITA.....sorta like holding down an Octopus while administering an Enema!! :tongue-out3: :rolling:
Nice Exhausted especially in this scale Grasshopper

It wouldn't be so bad Lee, if things would just fit like their supposed to. And on top of that they give you a surface you can't file or sand cos it will remove the exterior detail of which there is none available to replace it with.....my dilemma.
