Just sat watching this with SWMBO and my two young kids. All i'm going to say is "Pride". Obviously my faves the Chelsea Pensioners are there and deservedly get a standing ovation.

I feel this and the Cenotaph Parade tomorrow should be mandatory watching. I am recording it to watch after work.

Tomorrow hopefully will be my 18th visit to the cenotaph to pay my respects, so I hope the weather is fine.
Pete.

I too watched the festival. Moving as always. Hope to watch the cenotaph tomorrow as not at work.

We will be away, so no T.V., but we will drive about until we find a memorial, then we can lay a small cross at 11.00am tomorrow.

In memory of my Great Uncle...

As today is the Armistice Day proper, this morning, my wife and I laid a small cross at a memorial we found in a tiny village near where we have a caravan.

After, we took a nice long walk to our favourite beach.
This greeted us....

Didn't watch the box but myself and SWMBO took a trip to Dorchester for the parade and then on to the out-laws for dinner.
To hear the Last Post always brings a lump to ones throat!

(It's a selfie, medal and badges are on the correct side!)
Respect to all who served, serving!

Think the Cenotaph is on the cards for next year?!

Lest we forget
