My next victim.....I got this kit for free. Its a Revell 1:35 World of Tanks (WOTs) T26.
I had a problem with a previously made Revell Half Track, and emailed them to complain, so Revell sent this to me for free as compensation.
I know WOTs is an online tank game, and this has some ink with that, not sure what, as I know that the T26 was a significant tank for the Russians, so it is a "real" tank IYSWIM....
It is not without its own problems, (see photos below).
Box and sprue...

Not many parts (172) and looks like a relatively easy build, we'll see. A few very small bits, especially around the wheels/suspension and the top of the turret, wire frame, etc.
The decals sheet appears to have all the decals for all the tanks in this (WOTs) series, which are fairly generic, so I'll just stick to the few Russian stars and maybe one or two of the others, so looks like they will not be ascribed to a particular group/scenario, etc?

Have already made a start a couple of days ago, so main chassis /body already assembled along with the turret. A few small gaps, but nothing major TBH.

I have noted that two (one on each side) of the main plastic "prongs" are missing, (that hold the lower wheels/suspension assemblies....snapped off! I did check the bag/box but they are not in there, so wondering if this kit was a return or a faulty one? So will need to sort the missing pieces out with some new prongs, etc.

This kit is also my first with some individual tracks, so we'll see how I get on with those. Thankfully its only a few individual track bits, around the drive wheels, etc, the main track lengths are already made.

Great start, I resold a WOT kit once when I discovered it didn't have any 'normal' decals lol. Looking forward to see what you'll make of it - have fun :coffee:

Nice start Peter. That was good of Revell to acknowledge you and send you this kit. There are a few Soviet-style decals there, should be able to cobble something together. You must have a box of left over decals?

Yes, was good of Revell.....I do have spare decals, but no Russian ones, think this is the first Russian kit, of any sort, that I've done....

If you have a steady hand you can brush-paint things like text and numbers, the Soviets didn't care too much about perfection.
